Mullen’s is the undefeated Champion for 2022 SMM Softball!

Championship Game 8/15/22:

Mullen’s def. Nil Tap 11-0

Mullen’s took control early with a rally in the bottom of the first inning, but good defense was the watchword for both Mullen’s and the Nil Tap for most of the game. The bats of the champions awoke in the 5th inning and beyond and the Nil Tap never found their stride. Mullen’s completes their championship journey undefeated at 11-0! Congrats to them and all who came out to play this summer.

The League BBQ was a great success thanks to the efforts of Jeff Tournillon and Steve Kreutz at the grill, and Jim Sampson delivering/picking up the BBQ equipment. Bernie Lyons and Reid Mackin did a great job umpiring the game as the men in blue. Special thanks to John Richter for his tireless help all season managing the softball equipment and keeping everything running!
